From start to finish there is no denying the Toronto Maple Leafs were the more dominant team in their 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
Ironically Carter Hutton made many miraculous saves but all three goals he allowed weren’t exactly pretty in any regard but considering how things have been going for the Leafs, they’ll take it.
Toronto outshot Buffalo 46-24 and dictated the play and didn’t let frustrations sink in when the Sabres took a 1-0 lead. Considering how Pekka Rinne kept them off the scoresheet the night before, the Leafs couldn’t afford to just pack it in and like they’ve shown throughout the season, they stuck with the gameplan.
