Crusaders storm home in southern derby

Last week the Brumbies were felled 36-14 after leading 7-0 at the break. This time it was the Highlanders who came up short against the defending champions. After leading 10-7 at halftime, the Highlanders simply couldn’t match the home side’s intensity in the second spell as the Crusaders crossed for five second half tries to win 43-17.

The southern derby is always one of the highlights of the Super Rugby season and it lived up to its billing in a high octane opening 20 minutes.
