Storm Dispatch: Southern Colorado - Highlights from a historic winter at Wolf Creek Ski Area and Purgatory Resort

Southern Colorado received so much snow last week that many county roads and passes in the San Juan have been closed intermittently from avalanche debris or from avalanche danger. Highway 550 on Red Mountain pass has been closed for more than two weeks from multiple avalanches that have take out and buried roads in multiple spots. But we kept it safe with some on-mountain fun at Wolf Creek Ski Area, Purgatory Resort, and Purgatory Snow Cat Adventures. Here are the highlights.
